Some Solid Games That Most of Us Don't Play.

We are always looking forward to the biggest games of the year. In 2021, our eyes were on Resident Evil Village, Halo Infinite, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, and Forza Horizon 5. In 2022, we were all playing and talking about Elden Ring, God of War Ragnarok, and Horizon Forbidden West. So far in 2023, most of us have already experienced and enjoyed Hogwarts Legacy, Resident Evil 4 Remake, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, and the biggest game of the year, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. We still have half of the year to go and our focus is shifting towards Diablo 4, Street Fighter 6, Final Fantasy XVI, Starfield, and Spider-Man 2.      I'm excited to play all of those games but recently, along with a small group of gamers, I have discovered some really cool action-adventure games that are not that popular among the gaming community. Yes, almost all of them are either AA games or indie games, but they are really fun to play, especially in terms of...

This Year's PlayStation Showcase Was Just Okay..

Yesterday's show wasn't that bad. If you care about games in general and not just about exclusives, then yesterday's PlayStation Showcase was really good. However, it doesn't matter what we care about. The purpose of the showcase was for PlayStation to show off the games their first-party studios were working on. That's what we saw in their last showcase in 2021, which was excellent. Since last week, when it was announced that PlayStation would be doing a showcase this week, our excitement went through the roof and we all started making predictions. Before I talk about all the games we were expecting to see last night, let's touch on some of the games and some extra stuff that we all got to see.      One game that caught the attention of many gamers was Phantom Blade Zero. Those who know me would tell you that I like nothing more than a third-person action-adventure game with sword combat. I buy such games instantly. What I saw from the gameplay reveal...

Why I'm So Excited For Fighting Games In 2023

We have been spoiled with all the great games that we have been getting since I don't know for how long. It seems like we have been getting great games on all platforms since the 90s. Gamers argue about what year is the best year of gaming and I am here wondering if we ever had a bad year of gaming.     Some say 2021 was a slow year for gaming, but in that year we got games like Resident Evil Village, Mass Effect Legendary Edition, Returnal, Metroid Dread, Halo Infinite, Forza Horizon 5, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, It Takes Two, Guilty Gear Strive, Tales of Arise, and a few more. That's a good decent number of games for a year and that is considered to be a slow year? Really people? However, there have been some years where it was somewhat slow for the fighting games genre.       This year is going to be a special year for gamers who love their fighting games as we are getting two of the most recognizable fighting games of all ...

Xbox Game Pass - Where is the Buzz?

It is probably just me but Xbox Game Pass hasn't been hitting with games like it did in the past years. Like good games are coming to Game Pass, but the buzz is missing. From 2019 to 2021, Game Pass was on a different level with big additions and surprises added consistently. Sure, High on Life was a massive hit for Game Pass, as everyone was either playing or talking about it (I myself wasn't a fan of the game). Hi-Fi Rush (this one I adored) was another massive hit for Game Pass. However, those were just two games released within 45 days. I'm talking about new releases and some relatively new AAA games added to the library every month or so.       In 2019 we had big games like Metro Exodus, Devil May Cry 5, Gears 5, and The Outer Worlds all added to the service. All those games were released that same year but Gears 5 and The Outer Worlds were added to Game Pass on the same day of their release. We also had Middle Earth: Shadow of War and The Wi...

My Predictions For Xbox Games Showcase 2023

It is very true that I'm disappointed with Redfall's launch and I won't be playing it until the 60 FPS patch is out for the game. However, I'm still excited for the Xbox Games Showcase on June 11th, 2023. Redfall had a lot of hype and it failed. Now time to get back up and look forward. The next few months for Xbox, starting from June 11th, are going to be very important for its future. They are going to be make-or-break months for a lot of gamers.      Are the next four to six months important for me as an Xbox Gamer? Well truth be told, I mostly play and enjoy multi-platform games. There are a few Xbox and PlayStation exclusives I adore and had a great time playing, but if you ask me about my top twenty games of all time, fifteen of those would be multi-platform games. I recently had an amazing time beating Resident Evil 4 Remake and currently enjoying Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. However, I would love to see great exclusives come to Xbox so the Xbox br...

We Need To Have A Serious Conversation With Phil Spencer

'When Everybody Plays, We All Win.' We have heard Phil Spencer, the head of Xbox say this quote several times in the last four to five years. I believe he's been saying this quote since  Xbox decided to bring all their exclusives to PC back in 2016 or early 2017. I mean it is actually great and fun when everyone is gaming, but does Phil really mean what he says? Yes, he and his team have added almost all the Xbox exclusives on PC and then they provide access to xCloud. With xCloud, gamers can play Xbox games on any screen. But can you natively play Xbox games on a PS4, PS5, or on Nintendo Switch?       It was recently reported that RedFall, an upcoming Xbox exclusive, was in development for PlayStation 5 before Xbox bought Bethesda and Arkane Studios. After the acquisition, Xbox told the developer to cancel the PS5 version of RedFall and just focus on Xbox and PC versions. So as long as you are not playing Xbox games on PlayStation or Nintend...
