Gamers who are excited about Starfield have every right to be. As we all know, it is being developed by Bethesda Game Studios, who brought us Fallout 3, Fallout 4, The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, and The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. All those games are adored by millions of gamers, and they did well across all scoring metrics. I personally don't like them and the only game I have beaten among those four is Skyrim. Skyrim's writing and the open-world are excellent, but its combat and the graphics are not my cup of tea. Gameplay and graphics/art direction are my bread and butter when it comes to enjoying games. I also enjoy exploration and everything an open-world game has to offer, but if the combat and graphics are bad or just average, I tend to not like the game as much.
