Any Chance Starfield Disappoints?

Gamers who are excited about Starfield have every right to be. As we all know, it is being developed by Bethesda Game Studios, who brought us Fallout 3, Fallout 4, The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, and The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. All those games are adored by millions of gamers, and they did well across all scoring metrics. I personally don't like them and the only game I have beaten among those four is Skyrim. Skyrim's writing and the open-world are excellent, but its combat and the graphics are not my cup of tea. Gameplay and graphics/art direction are my bread and butter when it comes to enjoying games. I also enjoy exploration and everything an open-world game has to offer, but if the combat and graphics are bad or just average, I tend to not like the game as much. However, I feel like I'm going to enjoy Starfield.      Based on the most recent gameplay trailer, Starfield's combat looks enjoyable. It sucks that the game will be locked at 30 frames p...

Should I Continue Using Game Pass Ultimate Or....?

I have said it before and I will say it again. If it wasn't for Game Pass, I would not be the gamer I am today. There is a great chance if I had not subscribed to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate back in 2019, I might not even be talking about games today. I originally subscribed to Game Pass after I noticed a couple of YouTube clips where they talked about getting three years of Game Pass for only a dollar. Well, you were actually spending $181 to get three years of Game Pass by converting your three years of Gold membership into Game Pass Ultimate. Still, it was a pretty solid deal as the regular price for three years of Game Pass Ultimate was $540.       I didn't go for three years of Game Pass Ultimate. Instead, I went for one year of Game Pass Ultimate for $61. At the time, I was scared to spend over $100 on gaming subscription services or any gaming item unless it was a brand new console, so I settled for one year of Game Pass. Once I subscribed, I n...

The Initiative's Perfect Dark Should Be The Best Game On Xbox Series X.

The third year of the Xbox Series X/S console generation is almost over. On November 10th, 2023, most media outlets will be writing their thoughts about how they feel about Xbox series consoles. Basically, we will be getting a three-year report card from IGN, Kotaku (definitely don't read their report), GameSpot, Forbes Gaming, and so on. I will also write a report of my own for the Xbox Series X console as I own it and have been playing on it since November 12th, 2020. The upcoming AAA game, Starfield will have a major impact on the report card for the Xbox Series X/S consoles. If Starfield is great, Xbox Series X/S consoles might get a B+ or A-. If Starfield flops, the average could go down all the way to C or C- (Kotaku will definitely give an F or D+ at best).       I'm looking forward to playing Starfield day one and see what it has to offer to us gamers. However, even if Starfield is a masterpiece, my grade for the Series X console won't change. I'll explain wh...

My Steam Deck Review.

It has been two full years now since Steam Deck was revealed by Valve, a prominent digital distribution company that founded the Steam platform. When I saw Steam Deck for the first time and found out that I could play all Steam games and Xbox games on it, I instantly wanted to order one. Ever since I started gaming, I always wanted to have a portable gaming device that I could carry with me wherever I go, including school and college. I had a PlayStation Portable (PSP) from 2007-2009 and I really enjoyed playing games on it until it just stopped working due to some technical issue. Nintendo consoles were just not for me as I was never into any of the Mario games (except for the recent Super Smash Bros) or Zelda games. I wanted to play games with amazing graphics and gameplay, and I wanted the protagonist in the game to be stylish and/or badass (sorry Mario & Link fans).      I was very excited to get my hands on Steam Deck as I wanted to experience...

What Exactly Led Me to Get a PS5 in 2021?

I've been an Xbox guy since the summer of 2008 and went twelve straight years just playing games on Xbox consoles. It was in January 2020 when I was gifted a PS4 slim along with three games by my former boss. I couldn't believe it and was thrilled to receive a gaming console with games as a gift as it showed that my boss was very proud of the work I was doing for him and the company. Besides feeling good about myself for being acknowledged, I was also very happy that I was going to play some amazing games that I had missed out on between 2013 to 2019, along with the new games that were coming out in 2020 exclusively on PlayStation 4.      In 2020, I played and enjoyed many games on my Xbox One X and PlayStation 4 consoles. Being able to experience God of War, The Last of Us 1 & Part 2, Marvel's Spider-Man, Uncharted 4, Days Gone, and Ghost of Tsushima all in the same year was just special. I wish I could go back to 2020 and experience those games a...

AEW: Fight Forever Review

Reviewed on Xbox Series X and Xbox One X.      Before I give my feedback on AEW: Fight Forever, I would like to talk about AEW wrestling in general. In 2019, when AEW (All Elite Wrestling) debuted its very first episode on TNT, I was very happy as a wrestling fan. I had lost my interest in WWE in 2014 when Vince McMahon decided to end the Undertaker's historic WrestleMania 21-0 streak. I and many of the wrestling fans didn't want to see that streak to end but WWE wanted to shock the world, which they did, but that was it for me. Streak was ended by Brock Lesnar, who was pretty much a part-time wrestler at that time (and still is apparently). After WrestleMania 30 in 2014, I did watch some segments and matches from WWE, but it wasn't fun anymore.      The announcement of a brand new promotion, AEW, really caught my eye. Major WWE superstars joined AEW from the very first day, including Chris Jericho, Jake Hagger (aka Jack Swagger), and Jon Moxl...

Patiently Waiting For These Thrilling Adventures.

In my previous blog, I talked about all the games that I'm looking forward to playing in the fall of 2023. I wrote that with lots of excitement yet, only four of you read it. Anyways, this year is already stacked with games but there is no denying that 2024, 2025, and 2026 are also going to be loaded with some extraordinary games. I'm gonna just list some of the games that are on everyone's radar and I'll briefly mention a few under-the-radar games that I'm looking forward to playing in 2024, 2025, and 2026.      Games that most of us can't wait to play are Marvel's Wolverine, Star Wars Outlaws, Star Wars Eclipse, Wonder Woman, Fable, Perfect Dark, Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, Like A Dragon: Infinite Wealth, and to some degree, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. I know a lot of gamers were really disappointed with the gameplay of Suicide Squad that Rocksteady showed us earlier this year, but I'm still excited about it. This is the same developer ...
